On September 14, Hurricane Florence made landfall on the North Carolina coast and brought with it nearly 40 inches of rain, punishing winds and a lot of destruction not just in North Carolina but also in South Carolina. Early estimates are that the storm caused between 20 and 30 billion dollars in damage, plus the unimaginable – 42 lives have been lost in the storm.
SERVPRO of Dyersburg/Union City sent a team of 8 professionals to North Carolina to assist with rebuilding efforts. SERVPRO is committed to helping the people of the Carolinas and we are honored to stand together with other SERVPROs as we help rebuild neighbor homes and businesses.
The image below shows the air moves that we loaded up for our team from SERVPRO of Dyersburg/Union City to help start the drying process from the heavy rains and flooding that were caused from Hurricane Florence. We here at SERVPRO of Dyersburg/Union City are always ready to help at the time of a disaster.
