Water Woes At Office
2/4/2016 (Permalink)
A water connector broke in the back of the The Lauderdale County Enterprise in January of this past year. Much to our surprise they actually placed our response to their office on the front page of the paper. We were honored and they took time out of their day to write about our visit to their office. We have included a the article and a picture as well.

The offices of The Lauderdale County Enterprise were damaged Tuesday, January 19th after a water connector broke in a back office. Before crews with Ripley Gas, Water, and Wastewater, Ripley Fire Department, and the office staff could shut the water off, waves of water covered the front office floor and most of the remaining building. After a quick call to SERVPRO of Dyersburg/Union City, work began within an hour of the first call to dry the affected areas and begin the restoration work. Despite water around the desks, our staff did not stop working on the paper, getting it ready for printing, and never missed a beat. While the office will attempt to remain open through the week, we will be closed Friday, January 29th as restoration begins in the front opens Monday,we just ask that customers take precautions around the many cords and disarray.
